Would you like to be a venue?
On Tuesday June 21st, 2011, from 10:00AM to 7PM, the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo is thrilled to be bringing back by popular demand Make Music Kalamazoo!!!
This is the current incarnation of the French original phenomenon “Fete de la Music” now in its 29th year and celebrated in over 300 locations in over 100 countries worldwide. Celebrated in Kalamazoo since 2006, we’ve had over 100 musicians performing at over 10 different businesses like yours.
This is a free event to all, and is a great chance to join us in showing off Kalamazoo’s large and very diverse musical community!
Whether you.ve been involved in the past or are new to this event, I invite you to consider adding your establishment(s) to our growing list of venues this year. As we are getting more and more inquiries from interested musicians, we can work with you to find appropriate groups for your site, or we encourage those of you that regularly feature live music to reach out to those regulars and bring them on board.
Some things to consider are the time(s), genre(s), acoustic or amplified, available amplification system, etc.
