Support Fête de la Musique

Supporting Fête de la Musique is easy, and there are lots of ways you can do it.

Volunteer.

Volunteers are needed to work approximately 2 hour shifts from 9am until 10pm on the day of Fete. The work of our volunteers is important: supporting musicians, answering questions, handing out maps/schedules, and more. We'll be sure you know just what to say and do for your shift! Be a part of this day of music from behind the scenes, and get satisfaction from knowing that you supported this event as well as attended. Want to volunteer? Play.

Host.

Become a site for music. (See the page of this site dedicated to host-sites.)

Support Fete de la Musique with an in-kind or monetary contribution.

Fete is free to attend, but there are costs involved with setting up and putting on an event like this. Coordinators need people like you to volunteer your business for an in-kind contribution, or a monetary gift. Donors and sponsors will be recognized on the printed materials and this website, as well as in other advertisements, when applicable. Right now, our wish list consists of things like:

t-shirts printed for volunteers

bottled water and snacks for volunteers and musicians

Printing of schedules and maps

The loan of walkie-talkies for the day

Printed signs

Willingness to open your site or business as a public restroom location

Monetary support of Fete is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, but there are plenty of ways to support this celebration of music. Consider volunteering or making an in-kind contribution. Every bit helps as we create this fun, summertime festival.
