All musicians are invited to participate. Whether you are in a student ensemble just learning your instrument or are part of a blues band that gigs around town, we want you! Classical, jazz, rock, country, latin, R&B, vocal ensembles, solo instruments, and many other genres, we want you! Click here, to sign-up your group (or yourself) for the June 21 Fete.

Do the musicians get paid?
Musicians Participating in Fete de la Musique are not paid, and all performances are free to the public. In addition, volunteers and businesses will be donating their time and services to support this project. In the spirit of Fete de la Musique, June 21 is a celebration of music-making!
Both outdoor and indoor venues have been scheduled for the day. In the event of rain or inclement weather, we will resume outdoor performances when the weather permits. Check the Fete de la Musique concert schedule for a listing of venues and times.
Who’s coordinating this event?
The Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo in collaboration with Downtown Kalamazoo, Incorporated spearheaded the concept and laid the framework for this project.
